Capt.
Jay Weed owns and operates the Lucky
Charm fishing charters in Key
West, Florida.
We are located at the historic
Key West Seaport between the Half Shell Raw Bar and Turtle Kraals
restaurant. We invite you to come visit us at the dock to see what
the catch of the day is or to book a charter while you are on vacation
in Key West.
Key West Fishing by the season
Key West fishing can vary greatly
by each season.
Key West fishing in January
Key West fishing during the winter
months is a blast! There are plenty of species to be caught at any
given time in our offshore waters. Some of the highlights include
sailfish, blackfin tuna, wahoo, and even dolphin. We do troll for
these fish with great success.
The inshore fishing along the edge
of the reef is also very good in the winter and early spring. Mackerel,
large barracuda, mutton snapper and yellowtail snapper are among
the species that spend the winter months in the shallow waters just
outside our reef.
Join us for a half day or full
day of deep sea fishing aboard the Lucky Fleet. Capt. Jay Weed has
been taking visitors to Key West out fishing for many, many years.
We always have a good time! |
